RO-Max Technology
For many years we have had experience with wood in all possible forms and facets. We deal with the material, with its chemical but also its "superficial" properties. For us, wood is more than a surface - it is alive. It has its origins in nature, converts the greenhouse gas CO2 into matter and thus provides us with material that we can use in different ways.
Our employees expand these possible uses in order to increase the length of time it can be used. It goes without saying that aesthetic requirements also play a role!
However, it is no longer possible to generate major innovations in the 21st century on one's own. That is why we decided years ago to enter into cooperation with domestic and foreign research institutes. The development of new coating materials requires years of formulation and many series of tests to evaluate the longevity of the solutions. To do this, we use rapid testing methods in the laboratory or in application technology, but we also have exposure opportunities in many different geographical and climatic zones. Only the totality of these findings gives us the security to be able to offer our customers technologically mature products.
"With a minimum of chemistry to more closeness to nature and sustainability, that is our goal." With RO-Max technology, an innovative system for durable surface protection, we have taken an important step and given our solutions more diffusivity and longevity by influencing the polymers of the paint film and the light protection agents. Meanwhile, we are going even further. It is the wood itself that we modify on its surface to improve its overall properties.
The RO-Max technology is found in all products of the impra®lan-Lasur S range.
